History

The Fitchburg Street
Hockey League is a non-profit organization
which has been successfully run by volunteers for over
thirty years. Our rinks are located in Fitchburg
Massachusetts at Coolidge Park on John Fitch Highway,
adjacent from The Wallace Civic Center.
Fitchburg Street Hockey
League (FSHL) began in 1976, with only one rink and a second
rink (the south rink) which was previously at Parkhill Park
was added in 1995, by volunteers who disassembled it at
Parkhill and reassembled it at Coolidge. The Blockhouse was
built in 1990, by Corda Construction, where both the Coaches
and Board Meetings are held on the second floor. The first
floor contains our restroom and concession stand where hot
dogs, pizza, snacks and drinks can be purchased and all
proceeds benefit FSHL.
