Penguin Division

Typical ages are 7-9

This division focuses on learning the rules of street hockey and players are expected to follow with penalties included during games.

Games are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays with the possibility of Mondays (depending on how many teams).

Saturday games are held at 11:00, 12:00 or 1:00 Weekday games are held at 6:00, 7:00 or 8:00

Practices are held once a week, schedules are determined by each coach.

Players must wear required equipment found at the bottom of page.

 

 

Required equipment:

- Helmet with a face guard

- Protective gloves-street/dek/ice hockey type

- Shin guards - street/dek/ice hockey type (one piece that covers shin from knee to ankle)

- Elbow pads - street/dek/ice hockey type

- Street/dek/roller hockey stick (sticks with wooden blades are prohibited)

Optional but recommended equipment:

- Mouth guard - football type mouthpiece with strap

- Protective cup - for both boys and girls
